Trip to Gua Niah @ 070707 Part 1

Gua Niah, located a few km from Miri City, one of the tourism place in Malaysia. Gua Niah, a famous name for Sarawakians. 3 club from our school combined to visit Gua Niah. They are Scitech Club, Chinese Club and Geography Club. 70 students and 4 teachers went to the trip while another 2 teachers bought the lunch for us. 2 buses was booked. I woke up at 5am in the morning. Below are the schedule for the trip.

6.00am-6.15am -- Gather in front of the school. Attendance to be taken (I arrive at 6.20am)
6.25am-6.30am -- Waiting for the buses and get into the bus. Attendance was taken another time. Some people arrive at 6.30am

6.40am -- Here we gooo... Buses left the school.

6.45am -- Francis asked if we arrived at Gua Niah or not.

7.35am-7.45am -- We arrived..

7.50am -- We took the groups pictures and went to toilet

8.20am -- Teacher register at the counter. (The office open at that time)

8.30am-9.00am -- We took the boat. (I have the video for it)

9.00am -- We walk for 1hour and a few minutes before jungle tracking. The route was 4.1km

10.30am -- We rest for a while and start the jungle tracking. We walk at the muddy road. Very slippy and I manage to do a 90 degree drift. We saw some foreigner.

11.20am -- Arrive at painted cave. (Not the Great cave)

11.40am -- Arrive at Great cave.

12.20pm -- Out from the Great Cave after explore. Very dark inside. Imagine how they live inside.

1.30pm -- Had lunch.

3.30pm -- Bon vovage..

4.40pm -- Arrive at school.
We all cover with dirt. And cramp too... Freddie got scratched by something. Luckily I bring alone my first-aid kit with me.


Pang seems so relax inside the bus.
